Kristy L. Archuleta, Ph.D., LMFT, CFT™, is a Professor in Financial Planning at the University of Georgia. She holds the Betsy Barnard Sages Endowed Professorship for Financial Therapy and Financial Planning. Dr. Archuleta co-founded the Financial Therapy Association, the Journal of Financial Therapy, and the nation’s inaugural financial therapy academic program. She serves on the boards of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, NAFPA Foundation, and the Financial Therapy Clinical Institute. A sought-after speaker, media contributor, and writer, she has garnered research and teaching awards, including Journal of Financial Planning's Research Showcase Award and FTA's Hall of Fame Award.
